i am reading the new don delillo book, cosmopolis. i wont say too much about it here since im only a third of the way through it, and there really isnt too much to be said about delillo except that he is by far the world's greatest living author, and that you will probably never read anything better than underworld. i notice you can also download cosmopolis as an 'ebook' but quite how or why anyone would read an entire novel on their computer is beyond me.

i dug out primal scream's xtrmntr tonight. i never liked it much when it came out, but im starting to like some of it now though. mainly the songs with the most obvious kevin shields input. it's still incredibly overhyped though. not even their best album, let alone

if you live in england and fancy getting high speed internet, do yourself a favour and don't have anything to do with giointernet, possibly the most vile, underhand company i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. the fact that they rose from the ashes of another bankrupt adsl provider says it all. after waiting three months for them to connect me, they promptly cut me off for daring to complain. it then took three days of arguments to get a refund. bastards.
